12.12.2025

The Turkish Network for the History and Philosophy of Science has been established with the aim of increasing the visibility of academic research conducted in Turkey in the fields of the history and philosophy of science, ensuring regular communication among scholars in the field, and facilitating the sharing of information.

Formed on the Google Groups platform, the Network seeks to provide a common space for communication and exchange among academics, researchers, and graduate students working in the history of science, philosophy of science, and related disciplines. Within this framework, the Network aims to disseminate academic content such as announcements of symposia, conferences, and workshops; new publications; project calls; scholarships; and research opportunities. In addition, it seeks to create a regular information environment for researchers who wish to follow current developments in the field.

The Turkish Network for the History and Philosophy of Science is open not only to researchers who wish to actively contribute, but also to graduate students and early-career scholars who aim to follow developments and stay informed about ongoing work in the field. In this respect, the Network aspires to be an inclusive platform that both supports active academic production and welcomes those with a scholarly interest in the discipline.

Having attracted the participation of a large number of academics in a short period of time, the Network is expected to enhance interaction among ongoing research in the history and philosophy of science and to strengthen interdisciplinary communication.
