Prof. Dr. Fazlıoğlu, in his speech, focused on the intersection points of the logic and mathematics disciplines, and examined how these two fields were handled under the umbrella of 'Mixed Sciences' (el-Ulûmu'l-Mahlûta) in the history of science. Fazlıoğlu, especially through fundamental philosophical and logical categories such as subject, predicate, and proof, presented a different perspective regarding the historical and conceptual relationship between logic and mathematics.
