Our institute’s faculty members visited the Exhibition of the History of Islamic Science, which opened at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University (FSMVÜ), Fatih Campus. The exhibition was prepared with contributions from the FSMVÜ History of Science Department, Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Institute for the History of Science in Islam, and the Global Science Platform.
The exhibition, which opened on May 29, 2025, features models and reconstructed instruments from the works of various scientists in fields such as astronomy, mechanics, and optics, dating from the 9th to the 16th centuries in Islamic civilization. The exhibition will continue until June 25.
