The series of various conferences and workshops organized by our Institute's faculty members at the Rami Library, with the support of the Istanbul Governorship, continues as part of the "From Samarqand to Istanbul: Ali Kuşçu and His Circle Manuscript Exhibition." The exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) and the Presidency of Turkish Manuscripts Institution (YEK) and opened on November 18, 2024.
On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 14:00, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul İsmail Ökten from the Department of History at Istanbul Medeniyet University will give the second conference in the series, titled "The Scholar Summoned by Palaces: Ali Kuşçu."
Following the conference, attendees will be able to tour the exhibition accompanied by manuscript experts.
The program is open to everyone.
