Institute for the History of Science

The IIIrd National Ş. Teoman Duralı Philosophy-Science Symposium, organized by the Institute of History of Science at Istanbul Medeniyet University, will be held on February 5-6, 2026.The theme of this year's symposium is "History and Philosophy of Biology: Debates from Ancient to Modern Times."

The opening speech of the symposium will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ayhan Çitil, a faculty member at 29 Mayis University.The event will be held at the Fatih-Semaniye Campus of Istanbul Medeniyet University's Institute of History of Science.
