The Catalogue for the Exhibition: From Samarqand to Istanbul: Ali Kuşçu and His Circle Manuscript Exhibition
The catalogue for the exhibition titled "From Samarqand to Istanbul: Ali Kuşçu and His Circle Manuscript Exhibition" has been published by the Turkish Manuscripts Institution Presidency (YEK) Publications. The exhibition, organized by our Institute in collaboration with the Turkish Manuscripts Institution Presidency (YEK) and the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA), opened on November 18, 2024, at the Rami Library F4 Exhibition Hall. It presented visitors with a significant selection of manuscripts from the 15th and 16th centuries on the rational sciences, including works in Kuşçu's own handwriting, as well as surviving scientific instruments.
Our Institute's faculty members, Dr. Elmin Aliyev (Faculty Member), Dr. Taha Yasin Arslan (Faculty Member), and Dr. Mehmet Arıkan (Research Assistant), contributed as editors to the preparation of the catalogue.
